We've had a busy and productive week.
We were able to update contact info for the assistant ward clerk. He likes that.
We taught the "Plan of Salvation" lesson and introduced the "Gospel of Jesus Christ" lesson to Andrew and Reyna. We are planning to go to the FHC Tuesday night (Hispanic Night), and learn more about Hispanic research. Andrew and Reyna are planning to come so we can work together on her family tree.
We took Mary to the FHC and helped her work on more of her family tree. She has added a lot of information on FamilySearch.org, and still has more to add. She is getting many names ready for temple ordinances. Wednesday we plan to work more on that project with her.
We were able to get Joseph registered on FamilySearch.org, and got him started on his Grenadian family tree. He received the Aaronic Priesthood yesterday and was ordained a priest. We hope he can attend the temple soon to do baptisms for the dead.
We had dinner with the Elders at Tomas' this past week. He goes to "grilling" competitions, so you know the food we ate was delicious. His mother was a cook for the famous "King Ranch". She cooked for a hundred or more workhands each day.
I help Willie B. (the ward librarian) get the library pictures filed in numerical sequence. She was glad for the help.
On "Basketball Night with the Elders", Elder Jenkins gave the young elders a run for their money. I don't think he will do that again - even though it was fun. He has a few sore spots.
Since we've been helping to clean the church each week this month, we've tried to do a little deeper cleaning, and it's nice to see and enjoy on Sundays.
On Saturday, we attended the baptism of 9-year old Lexi - a girl from our ward.
Last night, we enjoyed "Movie Night" and watched "17 Miracles".
By the way, I found a product that I really like for fire ant and chigger bites - Sting Zapper's "Fire Ant Sting First Aid Gel".

Missionary Life
We've been busy teaching the gospel, moving furniture, creating a flyer for a member's home-based business, helping with family history research, visiting less actives, assisting with yard work, cleaning the church, keeping up with paperwork, and playing basketball with a recent convert.
A highlight was being able to attend the Houston Temple on the ward temple day.
